Outdoor Cleaning Services is the local window cleaning company Sterling Heights and Macomb & Oakland County homeowners trust to make their windows look brand new again. We clean the inside glass, the outside glass, the screens, the sills, and the tracks — leaving every window streak-free and your home noticeably brighter inside. Available as a one-time service or on a recurring schedule.

Most homeowners don't realize how dirty their windows are until they get them professionally cleaned — and then they can't unsee it. Years of Michigan rain, road dust, hard-water spots, pollen, screen residue, and pollution build up on glass in layers you can't fully see until they're gone. Once your windows are properly cleaned, the whole home feels brighter, the views look sharper, and natural light fills rooms in a way you forgot was possible.
Beyond the look, regular window cleaning protects the glass itself. Hard-water mineral deposits and acid rain etch into glass over time, eventually causing permanent damage that no cleaning can reverse. A professional clean once or twice a year keeps mineral buildup off your glass and your windows looking new for decades — at a tiny fraction of the cost of replacing them.
For most Macomb and Oakland County homes, twice a year is the sweet spot — once in late spring after pollen season ends, and once in fall before the weather turns. That schedule keeps mineral deposits and pollen film from building up enough to etch into the glass. Homes near busy roads, construction areas, or with sprinklers hitting the windows usually benefit from quarterly cleanings. Commercial properties and storefronts typically clean monthly. Whatever your situation, we offer one-time service as well as recurring schedules at a discounted rate.

We clean windows for homes, condos, retail storefronts, restaurants, office buildings, and small commercial properties throughout Macomb and Oakland County. Residential service is our most common — single-story and two-story homes, including high windows reachable with extension equipment. For commercial customers, we offer recurring schedules (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) at preferred rates with consistent crews who know your property. Whatever you need, give us a call and we'll put together a plan that fits.
We don't just hit the glass and leave. Every window cleaning includes the full system — glass, screens, sills, and tracks — so the whole window looks finished:
We clean the exterior of every window using professional-grade cleaning solutions and squeegee technique that leaves zero streaks. Hard-water spots, pollen, dust, road grime, and any buildup come off — leaving the glass clear from outside in.
We clean the interior glass with the same care, using lint-free finishing technique. Cooking residue, fingerprints, pet nose prints, and dust film all come off without streaks or leftover film. We protect floors, sills, and furniture during the process — your home looks the same when we leave, just with crystal-clear windows.
Screens trap years of pollen, dust, dirt, and bug residue that filters into your home every time you open a window. We remove every screen, hand-clean it with proper screen cleaning technique, and reinstall — so the air coming in is filtered through a clean mesh, not a dusty one.
Window tracks are where dirt, dead bugs, and standing water collect. We wipe down every sill and track to remove that buildup — finishing the look of the window and making sure water can drain properly during rain. It's the detail that separates a real window cleaning from a half job.
Before we leave, we inspect every window from inside and outside to catch any spots we might have missed. If anything isn't perfect, we re-clean it on the spot — no excuses, no leaving until you're happy with the result.

1. Quote & Schedule
Tell us your window count and what level of service you want — outside only, inside and outside, or full service with screens and tracks. We'll quote it on the spot and schedule a date that works for you.
2. Setup & Property Protection
We protect floors, furniture, and landscaping before we start. Drop cloths inside, careful equipment placement outside — your home stays clean while we work.
3. Clean Every Surface
We work window by window — outside glass, inside glass, screens removed and cleaned, sills and tracks wiped down. Every surface gets attention before we move to the next window.
4. Final Inspection & Walk-Through
We inspect every window from inside and outside, fix any spots, and walk you through the work before we leave. If anything isn't perfect, we re-clean it on the spot.
Both — and we recommend the full inside-outside-screens service for most homes since it's the only way to get a truly streak-free result. Streaks are usually visible from one side or the other, and only doing one side leaves you wondering. That said, if you only want one side cleaned, that's an option too.
Most homes take 2–3 hours for full inside-and-outside service with screens and tracks. Outside-only service runs about half that time. Larger homes or higher window counts may take longer — we'll give you an accurate time estimate when we quote.
Yes — that's the difference between a real window cleaning and a half job. Screens trap years of pollen and dust that affects your indoor air quality. Tracks collect dead bugs and standing water. We remove screens, hand-clean them, wipe sills and tracks, and reinstall everything so the whole window looks finished.
Yes. We have the equipment to safely reach second-story windows from outside, and we clean second-story windows from inside as part of our standard interior service. Hard-to-reach windows aren't a problem.
For inside cleaning, yes — we'll need access to the interior. For exterior-only cleaning, no — we can complete the work without you being home as long as we have access to the outside of the property. Many of our outside-only customers schedule cleanings while they're at work.
For most hard water spots that have been on for less than a year, yes — our cleaning solution and technique will remove them. Severely etched glass from years of mineral buildup may need specialty restoration treatment, which we can quote separately. We'll let you know during our walk-through which type of buildup you're dealing with.
Yes. Many of our customers schedule us twice a year (spring and fall) at a preferred rate, and commercial customers usually go monthly. Recurring service customers also get priority scheduling and discounted pricing. Just ask when you book.
Clean rain alone won't actually streak clean windows — only dirty water will. But if you're worried about it, give us a call within a week of your cleaning if you see noticeable streaks from rain or sprinkler hits and we'll come back to touch them up. We stand behind our work.

Window cleaning is even more worth it when paired with these other exterior services:
Dirty gutters drip down your siding and onto your windows every time it rains. Clean gutters at the same time as your windows and the whole exterior stays cleaner longer.
Clean windows look incredible — but they look even better against freshly soft-washed siding. Most customers bundle window cleaning with house washing for a complete refresh.
Driveways, sidewalks, decks, fences — all the hard surfaces around your property. While we're already on-site, most customers bundle in some pressure washing for a one-day total exterior refresh.
